Current Exhibits at the Milwaukee Public Museum

If you can make it to Milwaukee between now and June 6th, you'll have chance to see a truly remarkable exhibit at the Milwaukee Public Museum:

I'm very impressed that the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit is happening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and nowhere else. If you have any interest in ancient sacred texts for any reason, religious, or secular, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Another exhibit has also come to my attention and i'd like to mention it here because it is completely online. This virtual exhibit is called 125 Objects, 125 Years, and its purpose is to highlight a few of the museum's most unusual items, with a focus on those objects that are difficult to exhibit due to their fragile condition. Many of the items deal with Native American culture, natural history, and nineteenth century popular culture.

For example, here's one of the 125 images:

And the caption that goes with it:

Check out 125 Objects 125 years now!
