Globalization and Its Discontents

Can you imagine a book about a topic as complex as globalization that is written in an "accessible, provocative and highly readable" way? Well, that book isn't a fantasy. It was written by Joseph E. Stiglitz earlier this decade and is on our shelves now. Globalization and Its Discontents was hailed by Foreign Affairs as "Entertaining, insightful, and well-written." They add that the book "Makes a compelling case that simple-minded economic doctrine, inadequately tailored to the realities of developing countries, can do more harm than good."

If that wasn't enough, Stiglitz wrote an internationally bestselling sequel:
Making Globalization Work that also received rave reviews.
