Several organizations, most notably the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Cornell Ornithology Lab, have gotten together to bring us - in an online video - the first-ever comprehensive report on bird populations in the United States. Unfortunately almost one-third of our species are either endangered, threatened, or in serious decline.
